Whitesboro, TX (September 3, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in the Whitesboro area on Saturday evening, August 31, claimed the lives of two people. The Whitesboro Fire Department and police were called to the scene of the crash at around 10:30 p.m.
Reports from authorities indicate that three vehicles collided on the eastbound side of Highway 82. Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately shut down the road. Two people involved in the accident were pronounced deceased while at the scene. Two other victims were severely hurt and flown to area hospitals for emergency care. Two additional people involved in the crash were uninjured. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
