Smith County, TX (June 10, 2025) – Emergency crews were dispatched on June 9 to a two-vehicle crash along Farm to Market Road 2661, just north of Lake Placid Road in Smith County. The wreck occurred sometime on June 9 and resulted in at least one injury, prompting a response from law enforcement and medical personnel.
According to reports, the vehicles collided under unclear circumstances on the rural stretch of FM 2661. One of the vehicles came to rest partially off the roadway, while the other remained disabled in a traffic lane. Bystanders called 911 to alert authorities, who quickly arrived to secure the scene.
