Flint, TX (July 22, 2025) – A two-vehicle wreck slowed morning traffic west of Farm-to-Market Road 756 on FM 346 in Flint Tuesday morning. The crash was reported around 8:30 a.m. on July 22, causing a partial road obstruction as authorities worked to clear the scene.
Smith County emergency responders were dispatched to the crash site shortly after the incident occurred. Crews found two vehicles with visible damage along the shoulder of FM 346 and began rendering aid to those involved. At least one person was reportedly injured and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety oversaw the accident scene and are leading the investigation into what caused the collision. Traffic along FM 346 was rerouted temporarily while wreckers removed the vehicles involved. Delays were reported throughout the area during the cleanup process. Authorities have not yet released the names of the individuals involved or any additional information about their conditions.
