Denton, TX (September 23, 2024) – Multiple law enforcement officers were dispatched to the scene of a major multi-vehicle accident that occurred early Monday morning, September 23.
At around 7:25 a.m., between four and five vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 35. The incident prompted authorities to shut down a large portion of the roadway near Fort Worth Drive. Delays were reported throughout the area as emergency crews remained at the scene. Emergency medical services were summoned to the crash site to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash required further medical care and was transported to a local hospital. The Denton Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
