Tyler, TX (August 12, 2024) – At around 11:10 p.m. on August 11, the Tyler Police Department, Tyler firefighters, and emergency medical services were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in injuries.
According to official reports, a white pickup truck and a Cadillac collided on South Broadway Avenue at the intersection of Winchester Drive. The incident prompted authorities to shut down a portion of the roadway while assisting. Police and firefighters worked quickly to remove the involved vehicles from the scene. EMS with the University of Texas Health responded to the scene to care for the injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. The police department is currently investigating the crash.
