Nacogdoches, TX (October 21, 2024) – A fatal accident reported in the Nacogdoches area on Thursday morning claimed one person’s life. Authorities were called to the crossing during the morning hours on October 18.
Official reports show that a motor vehicle collision took place in the 3100 block of North University Drive. Further investigations determined that a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck. The pedestrian, identified as a female, was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care. The woman passed away from her injuries after arriving. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
