Tyler, TX (August 22, 2024) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Tyler. Authorities were called to the scene of the collision at around 8:00 a.m. on August 21.
Police reports show that a white Chevrolet pickup truck and a passenger car collided in the 3400 block of Van Highway, causing the roadway to be closed. Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to treat the injured victims. Those who required further medical care were transported to local hospitals. The Tyler Police Department is investigating the crash.
