Randolph, TX (October 16, 2024) – Five people were killed in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening, October 14, in the Randolph area. The collision took place at around 6:45 p.m.
Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate that a vehicle was traveling southbound in a no-passing zone when they tried to pass traffic on Texas State Highway 121. As a result, the car collided head-on with a northbound vehicle near County Road 4165. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to catch on fire. One person was critically injured in the crash and rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care. Five people sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
