Panola Co., TX (January 16, 2025) – A crash involving a train and a trash truck left two people injured Thursday morning in Panola County. The collision occurred at approximately 7:15 a.m. at the railroad crossing on County Road 127 near County Road 129, southeast of Gary.
According to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office, dispatch received a distress call from a passenger in the trash truck, reporting that both he and the driver had been involved in a collision with a train. Emergency medical services arrived on the scene to assist the injured occupants of the truck.
