Denton, TX (September 26, 2024) – On September 26, the Denton Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which at least one person lost their life.
At around 8:30 a.m., two vehicles collided on the eastbound side of West University Drive. The incident prompted the immediate closure of the roadway near Western Boulevard. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured and pronounced deceased by authorities. The number of injured victims is not known at this time. The Denton Police Department is investigating the crash.
